oh, time and space, they're quite a pair

like jiggly jello and a spoon.

they have a rule, it's very rare,

beneath the squinty, sideways moon

if you just sit, like a sleepy snail,

or hum a tune to your own shoe,

then time! it hands you, without fail,

a whole lotta time, just for you

but if you zoooom like a speedy sprout,

a whizzing, whooshing, flibber-floo!

then space! it shouts, "gimme out!"

and time? well, time gets kinda... blue.

they have a bucket, see, it's true

of... stuff. we'll call it "spatio-goo"!

if space slurps up a great amounts

then time gets dribbles.
